This is a very good way of putting it.
Although it can be misinterpreted, "anything can be addictive" is a true - namely because the brain is a pattern-forming machine. It doesn't matter if that pattern good or bad in the long-term, only that it's something you've done over and over again. Knowing this - that your brain WANTS to form patterns, that it's always reaching to deepen neural connections based on these patterns, is a useful mental tool in the fight against addiction.
