I'm starting to think of all current social media as sugar-filled food.
Similar to the commercialization of food - which started with products packed with unhealthy ingredients and preservatives, only to develop a "brain" later - social media 2.0 MAY come out better than what we have now. But there can be no doubt that there is something deeply sinister about modern social media. It's an echo chamber built to amplify some of the worst in human behavior...Cheers to being optimistic about the next wave of social media and pessimistic (or, rather, realistic) about what we have now.
